We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Registered Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our team.In this role, you will provide direct patient care and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription and non-prescription medications to patients.
- Provide clear and compassionate patient counseling regarding dosage, administration, and potential side effects.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including tracking expiry dates, stock rotation, and reordering supplies to prevent stockouts.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure strict adherence to all statutory and internal standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient health outcomes.
Requirements
- Education: A Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Licensing: Must be actively enrolled by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) with a valid practicing license.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a busy community or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards in patient care.
